About the Artist
Hello there!
My name is Mackenzie Joyce, and I am a Graphic Designer hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana. I have spent the past years honing my craft at Louisiana Tech University, where I have cultivated my passion for illustration and design.
I am an aspiring storyteller, and my love for visualizing stories is what drives me to create. Additionally, I believe that a healthy mindset is capable of balancing the harshness of reality with the freedom and whimsy of fantasy, and this is often reflected in my work. I enjoy working with both digital and traditional media, and I am always eager to learn and apply new skills. I am working to illustrate and publish a book of my own, and I shall pursue my interests in video game art, 3D modeling, and animation as well.
Aside from art, I also have a fondness for nature and for astronomy. Awe for the natural world has greatly influenced my artwork over the years and continues to serve as a strong source of inspiration for me.
Life, while daunting, is a grand adventure that I look forward to facing with a pencil clasped firmly in my hands.
